Welcome to MYTHOGENESIS – the WEB3 NFT ART RPG of the Second Renaissance!

A weekly art & storytelling experience guided by your fren, Toku, where a group of players control agents of the Second Renaissance as Patron Characters and journey through the pages of a living painted novel with a detailed narrative structure and a simple rule-set. While the visceral experience of a character-driven ART RPG is only available to a select few patrons, collecting the limited edition weekly pages and following along with the players on social media as the story unfolds is available to many more. In the end, there will be 1,000 possible editions of the MYTHOGENESIS chronicle available to collect into your own NFT book to look back upon in the years after the live game has finished. The game mechanics of MYTHOGENESIS are designed to foster artful play in five flavours of fun

• Creating and solving problems with art
• Socializing in Twitter, Discord and the Metaverse
• Engaging in PC only gallery events
• Collecting Art-Ifacts won by solving weekly art history mysteries
• Curating your own virtual gallery for maximum aesthetic impact

The International Art World of the near future is a realm of danger and discovery where our epic tale will take place. Our weekly quests will involve gallery-hopping through space and time with myself, Tokumei, your humble Docent and elucidator of mysteries, on a series of magical art-quests.

The Five Factions of the Future

In the years of struggle after WW3 and the global civil wars that followed, five main factions formed with their own agendas for the future of humankind.

• THE AEON CLUB – Royals of the past and the hidden hands behind the thrones of CEO’s
• THE EXO NATIONS – Egalitarian Autocracies of the Global South aligned under the Great Leader
• THE INVISIBLE ORDER – Hidden masters of the esoteric realms with their own secret plans
• THE OMNIA GROUP – Underground Neo-Humanists of the Second Renaissance
• THE UNO GOVERNMENT – Fallen empires bootstrapped together through a New Technocratic Democracy

The Agents of the Enlightenment

As in the first, so the great patrons of the Second Renaissance deployed their specialists to hunt through the wreckage of the fallen empires and rescue the many lost and stolen artworks of humanity’s shared cultural legacy. This is a story of the heroes of the future who will battle the forces of darkness and ignorance to become myths of a new enlightened age.

Patron Characters are the driving force of MYTHOGENESIS. As the PC’s progress through their individual story arcs, collecting powerful masterpiece Art-Ifacts, they will rise from heroes to legends – but only so many will achieve the highest aesthetic level and become a MYTH.

Patronage is available through purchase of 1/1 NFT Character Portraits created for characters in the story.
To HODL a PC NFT gives the Patron a hand in the direction of the story with special access to the artist and other features of the collection. Each PC has their own unique story arc and will be airdropped a custom 1/1 NFT PFP gift for use in social media and the Metaverse. There are 64 PC’s in the MYTHOGENESIS COLLECTION plus a number of other hidden characters and FrenPC’s. Some of these PC’s will be made available at the launch, the rest will be dropping as the plotline unfolds.

There are five types of character in the world of MYTHOGENESIS, and each has a part to play in bringing about the Second Renaissance.

PC’s rescue and collect the finest masterpieces in the art world for the future of human culture and society, preserving them as unique Art-Ifacts on the ‘chain. These Art-Ifacts are the main currency of the new cultural economy of the Second Renaissance, and are used in game to boost PC scores and determine the outcomes of story events. All of these are free 1/1 NFT’s created using public domain masterpieces and modified for fair use in our future setting as collectible and tradable plot devices. Every masterpiece has a life of its own and a story woven into our world’s history. We are going to play with their futures in the world of MYTHOGENESIS and give them life beyond the museum’s walls.
